In this paper, I explore the theoretical underpinnings of interstellar trade, a concept that extends traditional economic models into the realm of space. The central hypothesis is that trade across vast interstellar distances can be understood using modified versions of existing economic principles. I propose a model that incorporates the relativistic effects of space travel, such as time dilation, which significantly impact the valuation and timing of goods exchanged between distant planets.

The methodology involves adapting classical trade models to account for the unique challenges of space, such as the time it takes for goods to travel between planets and the resulting discrepancies in perceived time for traders on different worlds.
