Kia Unveils the 2027 EV3 and Seltos Hybrid at NY Auto Show

Kia has introduced its latest innovations at the New York Auto Show, showcasing the 2027 EV3 and the new hybrid version of the Seltos SUV. The EV3 lineup includes several trims like the Wind, Land, GT-Line, and GT, each equipped with an 81.4 kWh battery pack that offers up to 320 miles of range with front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is available on the Wind and Land trims and standard on the GT-Line and GT, with the latter delivering a robust 288 hp. The EV3 features an infotainment system similar to the EV9, supporting over-the-air updates and customizable themes from Disney, National Geographic, NBA, and FIFA World Cup. It will be available for purchase in late 2026, with pricing expected to start around $35,000.

The 2027 Kia Seltos Hybrid is also making waves with its new design. This model offers a choice between a naturally aspirated 2.0 L engine and a 1.6 L turbocharged engine, but the hybrid variant is particularly noteworthy. It combines a 1.6 L turbocharged four-cylinder engine with an electric motor to power the front axle, with an optional second eAxle for all-wheel drive. Like the EV3, the Seltos Hybrid includes advanced driver assistance features and a themeable infotainment system with standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The hybrid Seltos is set to hit the market in late 2026, with details on pricing and fuel economy to be announced closer to its release.
