The Giant Panda: A Conservation Success Story

The giant panda, Ailuropoda melanoleuca, stands as a powerful symbol of conservation success. With an estimated 1,900 pandas living in the wild by 2025, up from fewer than 1,000 in the 1970s, this remarkable recovery is a testament to global conservation efforts.
